Salerno!

Well, I was on Italian national tv this morning! One good thing about
having Renato Bruson as my Rigoletto - - they were doing a whole spot
on his long career (he's 73) and mentioned me - and showed a bit of
the duet with Rigoletto. All my new Italian family called me this
morning, I think! Very fun.

Also, in yesterday's show, I did the unthinkable - - I actually
repeated an aria! It's an Italian tradition if the crowd really loves
something and continues and continues to clap, that you come back out
to salute the public. If they're still clamoring for more, you can
sing a "bis" - repeat the aria, which is what I did with Caro nome.
It was amazing. And best of all, my husband was in the audience!
Very exciting.

As much as it breaks up the show in the moment, I have to admit I hope
it's not the last...
